Carlston joined Moelis & Company to start its Recapitalization & Restructuring division in July of 2008. Alongside other noteworthy deals, Derrough served as the banker of record for the Official Creditors Committee of American Airlines during its bankruptcy between 2012 to 2014 and played a key role in facilitating the reorganization which included the merger of the airline with US Airways.
