When coach Beard left Texas Tech for Texas, Goldin used the transfer portal to look for a new opportunity. He discovered it while working at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) with coach Dusty May and old Putnam Science Academy colleague Bryan Greenlee.
He rapidly established himself as a valuable member of the Owls’ lineup. Goldin also assisted FAU in making NCAA tournament history as the first No. 15 seed to reach the Final Four.
