Kathy Griffin Divorces Husband Randy Bick After Almost 4 Years

Well, it’s official. Kathy Griffin is on the divorce list.

She filed for divorce from her husband, Randy Bick, last Thursday. The paperwork was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to documents Page Six managed to get their hands on.

The date of separation? December 22, 2023. The reason? The classic “irreconcilable differences”.

Interestingly, Griffin and Bick, a marketing executive, had signed a prenuptial agreement. The date? December 23, 2019. Just nine days before they tied the knot on New Year’s Day.

Griffin, known for her role in “My Life on the D-List”, wants the court to enforce the prenup. If it goes through, neither party can be awarded financial support.

For the record, Griffin, 63, and Bick don’t have any kids together.

Griffin’s response to the news? A tweet that read, “Well…sh*t. This sucks.”

TMZ was the first to break the news of the divorce.

The couple had announced their engagement just hours before they got married. The ceremony was officiated by actress Lily Tomlin. Griffin, also known for her role in “Suddenly Susan”, said at the time that she and Bick, 44, wanted to get married right after midnight. They were hoping for a “great start to 2020.”

Their love story began in 2011. They broke up in November 2018 but got back together in April 2019.

The couple hadn’t even been married a year when Griffin was diagnosed with lung cancer. She’s never smoked, by the way. She underwent surgery to remove a large portion of her lung and announced in December 2021 that she had beaten the disease.

“I’m cancer-free,” she announced on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” She explained, “I don’t know why, I had a tumor, right? And I’ve never smoked, and it was in there for 10 years. So get this, they took it out and found it in another scan.”

Despite being in remission, Griffin had to undergo vocal cord surgery in June 2023 as part of her “cancer journey.” She shared on social media, “This is just part of my recovery post-lung cancer surgery. I’m cancer-free, so anyway a little scratchy today, but I’ll be in good shape.”
