Japeth Aguilar was born in Manila, Philippines on January 25, 1987. Power forward who won his first PBA title with the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters in 2012 before winning back-to-back titles with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in 2016 and 2017. He made five consecutive PBA All-Star teams from 2013 to 2017. He has won PBA Governors’ Cup championships alongside Sol Mercado on Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. He transferred from Ateneo de Manila University to Western Kentucky in 2007.
