Deron Williams was born in Parkersburg, WV on June 26, 1984. All-Star NBA point guard who began his career with the Utah Jazz in 2005 and was traded to the New Jersey Nets in 2011. He won two Olympic gold medals with Team USA at the 2008 and 2012 games. He chose to re-sign with the Nets under the guidance of part-owner Jay Z. He was a star point guard at the University of Illinois, leading the team to the 2005 National Championship game, where they were defeated by North Carolina.
