Berk Hakman has been playing guitar since he was eleven years old. He used to play keyboards, trumpets, and bass guitars in high school. Just after the 1999 zmit earthquake, he moved to Antalya to study Tourism Management at Akdeniz University for two years. He went into the theater club there. He then graduated from the acting department of Istanbul’s State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan University. His film career began with Okul, which was shot in 2003.
